In 1973, the Wailers released Burnin' (19 October 1973, 1973-10-19)
the LP included newer versions of some of the band's older songs and new tracks "Get Up Stand Up" and "I Shot the Sheriff
That album is important also because it at that time that Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer left Bob Marley And The Wailers Band for various reasons.

Burnin' is the final statement of the earlier configuration called "The Original Wailers"
Eric Clapton’s cover version of "I Shot The Sheriff" reach the 1 rank on the Billboard Charts.
Burnin' peaked at number 151 and number 41 on Billboard's Pop Albums and Black Albums Charts respectively.
