To be quite honest , a doubt still exist about this one.

Years ago , while doing some researchs, at this time not a lots of information were existing about the year 1974
i reached the Bottom Line Cabaret by email.

I was asking their archive service about something i saw on the internet, a date with Bob Marley and Taj Mahal , in New York.
Its know that this year Bob Marley did a lots of travel around the world , a lots of photographies confirming this.

I even asked true sources, no one believing that it can be real , anyways , here the summup of the emails, i claim nothing ,just to be clear :)

The show that you are asking about on October 17,1974 featured Taj Mahal.

Bob Marley, who was a friend of Taj's and a guest who came to see the show that
evening, got up and performed with Taj at Taj's invitation.

Bob Marley was never a featured performer that evening, but got up and performed with Taj at Taj's invitation.

So to answer your question, Bob Marley was not the featured performer that evening
but he did perform a couple of songs with Taj, as a result of Taj's request.

To my knowledge, there is no existing recording of that performance.
