Concert : Paul's Mall, Boston, Massachusetts,USA

Songs : 9
Opening Act : Orleans

The Copley Square area in Boston had an active Jazz scene in the seventies.

Two of the jazz clubs, The Jazz Workshop, and the adjacent Paul's Mall were both owned by local jazz impresario
Fred Taylor.

Opened in 1963 and 1964 the Jazz Workshop and Paul's Mall had opened on Boylston Street at number 733.
with Keith Jarrett as house pianist. Both clubs had closed by 1978.

At this event The Wailers band shared the bills with a band named The Orleans
I wants to thanks Larry Hoppen for giving informations when i do have asked him :

Orleans opening to Bob and the Wailers was at Paul's Mall
A great small night club in Boston in 1975

Our reggae-tinged songs over the first several albums were :

"If" (Ist LP 1973), "Give One Heart" (on Let Ther Be music LP 1975)
"The Path" (on Waking & Dreaming LP 1976).

Those 3 songs were written by John Hall and Johanna Hall.

We also did a tune called "Plutonium Is Forever" written, I believe, by John Hall.
It is more calypso than reggae.

That is included on our 2001 compilation
- a 30-year Retrospective where you must have seen our "Trench Town Rock" cover also.

On a new CD to come out this year 2005
we have a song called Heaven which has something of a reggae ballad influence to the track.
