the several buildings that make up the Pinecrest Country Club on River Road in Shelton seem weary
as does their owner, Jonathan Zuckerman.
Zuckerman said his parents started the business in 1956, adding the property was originally the site of a
Swedish/Baptist Home which was started in the 1930s, and was a combination of a rest and convalescent home
facility.
"They sold the land and all the buildings on it to my parents who used it for a country club," he said.
