Bob Marley And The Wailers - 1979 Survival Tour , Album History And Comments



The album was at first entitled Black Survival, to underscore the urgency of African unity,
but shortened to avoid misperceptions of the LP's theme.

Bob Marley originally planned to release Survival as the first part of a trilogy,
followed by Uprising in 1980, and closing with the posthumous Confrontation album released in 1983
(he had named the LP in October 1980).

the world tour of Survival contains historical places in the like of :
Apollo Theater, the santa barbara performance (with horns section) ,Nassau non profit concert.
