The Kaiserslautern Stadium, also called Fritz-Walter-Stadion, is the match place of the Bundesliga club FC Kaiserslautern
which was built in the year 1920 on the Kaiserslautern Betzenberg.
Until 1985, the Betzenberg was also name giver for the stadium (Betzenberg-stadion), whereby its fans still call it lovely Betze.
Since that time, name giver for this stadium is the soccer legend Fritz Walter
