The Stanley Theater was built in 1927 at a cost of $3 million and opened on February 27, 1928.
James Bly Clark, an early theater tycoon who assisted in the founding of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer financed its creation.

The theater was purchased and remodeled by the Cinemette Corporation in 1976, and in 1977
DiCesare Engler Productions bought the Stanley to present rock and roll concerts through 1982.

The building is registered with the National Register of Historic Places.

The climate surrounding this performance was as you know, you can guess , a sad one.
Its being rumored for years that the band, aware of bob marley illness played a little fast this night.

2 CD , a mixture of soundboard recording and audience recording , especifically the last tracks of the album.
besides of a real differences between the tracks , its a solid mix, some will moan about the sounding being in some part not natural, that's not entirely false.

A simple note, the LP's are audiophile quality ones, 180 grams

A second note, the mastering, mixing of the second cd, may sounds different, i wont critize about the inclusion of audience tracks to complete the set.
but i will moan about a marketing fact, it seems that island/Tuff Gong will release in japan, in SHMCD format and will add bonus made of 4 tracks , i3's introduction..why not here then ? deluxe no ?

Its nice to see this one being released, it will makes casual fans happy, hard die one will surely says: well it exist and its good
