Bob Marley And The Wailers - 1980 Uprising Tour ,Album History And Comments

The Uprising tour gonna stay in history as the last tour of the wailers with bob in his physical form
(sounds crazy i know, but i still think that he's here with us)

it's one of the best in a history point of view
from zimbabwe to usa, here some details about that tour :

Uprising was released in May 1980.
It was an instant hit, which was followed by a major European tour
that included the biggest shows in the band's history
Uprising was the final studio album to be released during bob lifetime.
This album is one of Marley's most directly religious, with nearly every song addressing his Rastafarian beliefs,
culminating in the acoustic folk classic, "Redemption Song".

Uprising peaked at N°41 on Billboard's (North America) Black Albums chart, and n°45 on the Pop Albums chart.
"Could you be loved" was n°6 and n°56 respectively on the Club Play Singles and Black Singles charts.
