This is a fantastic album.

It centers around Brazil's 'Tribo de Jah' but has participation from several other people
including Junior Marvin.

Tribo de Jah is a group of 5 blind men who all met at a institution for the blind in Brazil.
They all realized their love of music and formed Tribo de Jah.
Since their forming they have released 10 albums to date including 2001's tribute "A Bob Marley"

The album is split in 2 sections, the first half being a live concert recorded in Porto Alegre
and the second half being studio recorded songs.
The songs are both sung in English and Portuguese.

The music is very strong and solid and all the singing is right on.
Junior's contribution comes from the live section of the album where he sings 3 songs.
It is always great to hear Bob Marley lyrics sung in different languages.(cf the maori tributes)

After the release of this album, Tribo de Jah embarked on a Bob Marley Tribute Tour.
