A fantastic album by a true legend.
Now this is a top notch class act Bob Marley tribute album.
Gil has been singing and playing his guitar usually of the political nature in Brazil since the 1960's.
On this album he decided to pay homage to another political fighting hero Bob Marley.

Gil sings many of the songs both in English and Portuguese mixing the languages together in
the same song, it just adds to the beauty of this album.

It was recorded in Jamaica and Brazil Gil's and he picks fantastic songs to sing such as Time Will Tell
and Lick Samba.
His singing and guitar playing are just great and very relaxing. An easy find and a must have.
